Growing up, listening to all kinds of music, I’m inspired to this day by a variety of artists and everyday events…from Skynyrd to Jennings; Allman Brothers to Zeppelin; Haggard to Tritt; Bonanza episodes, John Wayne films, a favorite movie, ‘Trip to Bountiful,’’ or a chat with a neighbor—all taught me that it’s about one’s commitment of expression—be true to the music. My songs such as ‘All American Cowgirl,’ and ‘Girl in a 4‐Wheel Drive’ make you want to dance, along with ‘Love Thing,’ a definite sing‐along. ‘Sedona,’ a personal song of love and loss, might bring a tear, but ‘First Class, White Trash,’ will make you smile. I love performing, singing acoustic solo, or with the band. It’s such a trip doing pre‐shows for great artists as Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, and playing with the band regularly at ‘Toby Keith’s, I Love This Bar.’ Singing from the heart, whether it’s with an electric or acoustic guitar, I consider it an honor and a privilege to bring enjoyment to the audience.
